Sharks thrice

fter a frustrating defeat in the first match of a twice-to-beat advantage, the Junior Red Spartans Volleyball Girls Team ended the hopes of the Senior Blue Sharks Volleyball Girls Team in getting their back-to-back championship title in the breathtaking final game during the Makati Science High School Intramurals at the school grounds, Sept. 29.

Cheers and esteem boosts from their batch mates helped the Lady Spartansoverpower the determined Lady Sharks. Led by captain ball Ilyn Franco Nacario, the Spartans finished the championship game in three sets: 25-20, 25-23, and 25-21, respectively.

The Sharks’ ace players, Ma Diane Elizabeth Gana Lao and Ma Lorena Gorpido Sebastian, were not able to stop the unbeatable play connections of the Spartans’ Power Six.

Lao, Nacario, Sebatian, Precious Irish Pasia Genosa, Monica Louise Aguiles Inonog, and Carissa Lizette Berania Punsalan were the Mythical Six. Nacario bagged the Most Valuable Player award.
